### **Creating a Single Patent Landscape Map**

 IPVision's proprietary patent maps are visual representations of relationships between objects. IPVision Single Patent Landscape Maps show the patent citation relationships between a base patent, those patents it cites (prior art) and patents that cite the base patent as prior art.

# Three Steps to Create a Single Patent Landscape Map

> **1. ****Identify the base patent in an existing list or patent map **

> **2. Right-click on the patent and Select Landscape Map**

> **3. Explore the map using the Viewer Window or by hovering over patents in the box**
