Dr. Val Livada
Dr. Val Livada works with IPVision and IPVision customers with a focus upon identifying and driving organizational growth through corporate entrepreneurship and innovation programs. His efforts include a range of consulting and programmatic responses to helping companies understand how they can adapt to the pace of technical change, shifting R&D models, and increased focus upon strategic and financial investments and long-term returns.
During his career, Val has combined expertise in the areas of strategic planning and organizational dynamics, with a detailed knowledge in the areas of innovation, product development and R, D & E management. In 1996, Val founded Weybridge Partners as a network of formal and informal associations of practitioners and organizations focused on the creation of innovation ecosystems. The network includes business and technology consultants, venture capitalists and angel investors, academics, entrepreneurs, and lawyers, in the United States and abroad.
This work continues at MIT where Val teaches Corporate Entrepreneurship at the MIT Sloan School of Management and where he started the Corporate Entrepreneurship Network, a group of strategic investors, technology scouts and new business development professionals across various industry sectors.
Dr. Livada received his B.S. in Political Science from MIT, two M.A.'s in International Affairs and Law and Diplomacy from Tufts University, and his PhD in International Law from Tufts University.
